I thought i made a thread last night but i guess my question was only added to Sabines.
I've been talking to someone who might return to the board so I am thinking of registering another char.. and i know a friend who has recently registered but can't post. I know you preview registrations as to keep the bots and spammers down like i use to so I know it takes time. I'm just wondering how long it usually takes so I can let people know the expected wait. |

I try my best to make sure the wait time is as short as possible. The approval process is only so I can screen registrations and try to prevent bots from signing up and posting spam, as everyone knows, it is not because I'm judging anyone's worth to the board, everyone is welcome.
If I am online throughout the day the board notifies me of new signups so as long as my e-mail is open I know to hop in, check the registration and approve/deny them pretty quickly. But sometimes if I don't have a lot of online time or there is a sleu of bot reg's its hard for me to see the good account amongst the bots and I either don't get it approved very fast, or I accidentally deny it. In other words, I try to make it really fast... it shouldn't take more than a day or two. Anyone/everyone is always welcome to contact me and say something if they have registered and are awaiting approval. I like to use a new account as soon as I register it and waiting is a pain, so I don't blame anyone nor get annoyed at anybody for contacting me to say "Hey, I registered such and such name." It actually helps me more than anything, because I can make sure you get approved right then and that I don't accidentally think it was a bot and delete it. If I ever deny an account, you're also welcome to contact me about it because it was probably just an accident.
